At loft. we are proud to have partnered with L'Oreal Professionel, Redken, Goldielocks, Borboleta + HydroPeptide. We enjoy these products in the studio as well as offering them for home care. As a company, we take this choice very seriously, as we want to ensure your experience begins and ends with success. This experience not only includes the time of your visit, but the knowledge and tools to maintain your look beyond your visit with us. loft. a hair + skin studio is owned by Emma Blume + Caylen Chapman. Both have a strong background in education through multiple companies. This education spans from extension certifications to business knowledge and everything in between.
At loft., we are a learning salon. We create our growth by bringing in externs and associates. In doing so, we are able to ensure a comfortable experience for our guests, as they are always being taken care of. In addition, we have created a culture where everyone is a familiar face with a consistent level of work.

Owner and Co-founder Emma Blume is a certified extension educator, educating in the Pacific Northwest area. Only after extensive training and model applications are our stylists qualified to service extension guests. This ensures the confidence that your application will be perfectly professional, healthy and knowledgable, start to finish.

The hair we use in studio is not only truly 100% remy hair, but it is contracted to be the top 20% of the world's best hair, the rest being sold to other competitors. Grade A, fully in tact cuticle, and ethically sourced from healthy donors - our hair is prepared in water that is free of harmful minerals, and uses no silicones that create a short-lived, false sense of quality.

With proper care and maintenance, our hair extensions can last anywhere between a few months, to over a year, depending on the method that is most suitable to each individual’s needs.

Hailing from El Paso, TX, Vic originally went to college to become a teacher but soon realized that she needed a more effective outlet for making people happy and using her creative side. Her favorite services are balayages or vivid coloring, but she truly just loves to see the smiles on her clients' faces when she turns the chair. Not only did she want to be creative in her career, but to continue to meet new people and learn as much as she can in this ever-changing industry.

Izze comes to us from Missoula, MT. Izze brings a fun energy to the studio, and she will keep you laughing while providing exceptional service. She is talented in all areas, but is exceptionally skilled in Brazilian Blowouts and extensions. ​In her free time, you might find her riding her motorcycle or spending time with her pets!

From Yelm, WA, Monet is the proud owner of an AA degree, despite the challenge of being a “Covid Graduate”. Being the 5th daughter in a family of all girls, she deeply understands and values the connection between looking and feeling your best. Her current favorite service is any balayage. Monet loves that in just a matter of hours, she can make a big difference in someone’s outlook on themselves. She also loves Alice Cooper and Billy Idol, and will always talk about her favorite pastas with you. Ask her about the latest book she’s reading, and enjoy your visit with her!

If you want to talk fitness or hiking, Anna is a great resource to connect with during your next visit to our front desk.

Sarah has lived in SW Washington most of her life. For the last ten years, she has enjoyed doing hair and making people feel beautiful. The aspect of meeting and connecting with new people is one of her favorite parts of the job. She likes to stay current with new trends and continued education. Her number one priority is helping her clients achieve feeling their best self. When she's not in the treatment room, you can likely find her planning her next travel getaway!

Talented in both painting and drawing - artistic Natalie comes to us from Grays Harbor. She loves her little dog Rory, and that she lives only 20 minutes from the beach. Because history and English were her favorite subjects in school, Natalie has many interests to talk about. If you need recommendations for a historical fiction read, she's the person to ask!

Annalea joined our team as an experienced stylist from Florida. She plays the cello and also sings in her church band. She loves pasta and chocolate... just not together. Ask her about her dog Bruce - she'd be happy to show you pictures! Ever since she was little, Annalea knew she wanted to be a stylist. She specializes in curly cuts and balayage. She especially loves a good bronde.

Her hobbies range from theater arts all the way to wrestling, but nothing tops a day fishing.

Co-founder of loft., Emma was raised in Hawk's Prairie before the community we see today even existed. She has been in the industry since 2010. Most days, you will find her in her office working on everything behind the scenes. She enjoys helping grow new talent, and educating for DreamCatchers Hair Extensions. She is married with four kids, two dogs, and several chickens. She loves all things holistic, sustainable and health & wellness.

loft's co-founder Caylen comes from Lake Oswego, OR. She has an expansive background in education with L'Oreal Professionel, and continues to share her knowledge by leading our Education Program and growing our Externs and Associates. If you've worked with them - she's trained them! She lives here in town with her husband, three children, two dogs and two cats. Caylen enjoys quilting, throwing pottery, and cardio.

*any cancellation within 48 hours of a scheduled appointment will be charg​ed 50% of the scheduled service fee.

that being said, we absolutely understand that life happens, and we understand that at times, circumstances can be beyond your control. we do our best to accommodate these situations.
*like most salons, we do not offer refunds on services. if we did not meet your expectations, any re-do service is complimentary within 2 weeks of your original appointment date, no questions asked.
